Job Description:

I. General Summary: Support the manufacturing areas with plant focus on minimizing down time, increasing productivity and maintain the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures. Service, repair, maintain, and improve fixtures/dies/weld cells and equipment preventative maintenance.

II. Essential Job Functions:

A. Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.

B. Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.

C. Make repairs and improvements to fixtures/dies/weld cells/swage machines.

D. Perform general building maintenance (support PE Facilities Technician).

E. Oversee machines in Weld and Stamping.

F. Swage areas.

G. Machine uptime/downtime management.

H. Support Maintenance, Kaizen, Production Engineering and other related activities.

I. Other duties as assigned.

III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

--- High School diploma or GED required.

--- Tool and Die certificate/diploma or equivalent experience required.

--- Industrial Maintenance Associates degree preferred.

Experience:

--- 2-5 years Tooling, Machining experience Maintenance experience required.

--- 2-5 year's experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication preferred.

--- CNC, Machine shop, and Kaizen experience a plus.

Personal/Technical Skills:

--- Self-starter with strong work ethic.

--- Good problem solving and analytical skills.

--- Flexibility in a changing environment.

--- Mandatory overtime flexibility.

Language Skills:

--- English, both written and verbal.

Computer/Software:

--- Basic Microsoft Office applications.

IV. Work Environment/Conditions:

Plant: Automotive manufacturing plant

Travel: 0-10%

V. Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
