About This Role
This Digital Factory Site Leader will be leading and driving the
digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing setting.
This involves adopting digital technologies like IoT (Internet of
Things), AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning), and
robotics in the factory setting. This person will need to
communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from
factory floor workers to executive leadership, ensuring there is
clear understanding and support for digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of
digital factory projects.
- Drive regular sessions with business factory leadership to set
priorities and align business objectives and Digital strategic
plans.
- Collaborating with various departments such as digital,
operations, engineering, and supply chain to ensure the digital
solutions are aligned with the overall business strategy and
operational needs.
- Leading change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of
new technologies and processes.
- Continuously seeking ways to improve manufacturing processes
and operational efficiency through digital solutions.
- Responsible for managing the DT local budget OPEX / CAPEX
planning as per the plant requirements while ensuring the
appropriate tracking and execution to meet the annual goals. Also
responsible for local IT vendor management / service fulfillment
monitoring.
- Act as the main POC for IT Severity 1 incidents, providing
local coordination and execution to ensure business continuity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of digital experience in manufacturing and supply
chain
- 5+ years of experience in the latest digital technologies;
artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, IoT,
and/or cloud computing
- 5+ years of experience in ERP, MES, and/or supply chain
systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing
Technology, And preferably a Master's degree
- Willing to travel within USA and other countries.
- Knowledge in Digital Compliance and Cyber Security
- Digital transformation experience
- A deep understanding of the industry in which the digital
projects are being implemented, including its challenges,
regulations, and trends.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum, Lean, and other agile
techniques.
- Strong project management skills: certified preferred.
- Demonstrate transformational leadership skills (encourage,
inspire, and motivate)
- Strong analytical skills: ability to perform complex system
analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from
different sources, including root-cause analysis and issue
resolution.
- Highly self-motivated, driven work ethic, keen attention to
detail and exceptional customer service orientation.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict
management skills.
- Ability to communicate highly technical information in an
understandable manner to non-technical audiences through writing
and presentations.
- Committed to continuously learning and developing new skills,
technologies, and passionate about conveying knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solutions to
business, products, and technical challenges.
- Results oriented, always stretching to drive personal and team
outcomes.
- Strong desire to continue to grow skillset and work across the
full technology stack.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and teams
simultaneously.
- Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Proven experience leading digital transformation projects in a
complex operational environment.
