Job Opportunity: Director of Tax and TreasuryLocation: Memphis, TNPosition OverviewOur client, a prominent player in their sector, is on the lookout for a highly skilled Director of Tax and Treasury. This key role will take charge of managing all federal, state, and local tax obligations, while also overseeing the company's banking relationships, in alignment with the Chief Financial Officer's directives.Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Partner with legal and operations teams to develop inventive methods for reducing the company's effective tax rate.
• Oversee global treasury functions, including banking and investment strategies.
• Direct the forecasting and management of capital requirements.
• Contribute to the oversight of global insurance portfolios.
• Refine and enhance cash management practices and internal controls.
• Generate all relevant tax-related financial documentation.
• Keep up-to-date with new tax regulations and provisions through ongoing research.
• Spearhead global tax strategy, covering areas such as income tax, transfer pricing, and major indirect taxes.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation from a recognized 4-year institution.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Corporate Tax Leadership position.
